Celebrity Makeup Artist Gucci Westman Shares Her Tips on How to Look like a Celebrity
Gucci’s make-up tips: Let your natural beauty shine through. I think the main look for spring/summer 2014 is a sportier, natural glamour.
Every make-up artist I know loves using highlighter to give the skin and face a fresh, dewy look.
Up the ante with your skincare. Regular exfoliating is key to getting beautiful skin. Dr. Hauschka products are amazing for gorgeous skin and I swear by Jo Malone’s vitamin E scrub.
The no-make-up make-up look isn’t as hard as it sounds. Before applying foundation, use a primer. It helps a lot to even out the skin tone and reduce the look of your pores.
Use just enough foundation to give you good coverage without it looking cakey and use a very light dusting of powder in the t-zone to keep the shine at bay. Use a little cream blush and a little sculpting with a face bronzer works wonders.
Give your make-up bag a spring clean. I would say six months is the right amount of time before giving your make-up bag an overhaul. For spring every make-up bag should have a good skin highlighter. A good bronzer is key too.
