The 2016 Golden Globes are upon us girls and boys! The highly anticipated celebrity stricken Red Carpet is just flowing with stunning designer gowns and perfect hair and makeup! There were some new bright and shiny faces on the carpet. One of them was actress Jaimie Alexander from NBC’s “Blindspot”. Celebrity makeup artist Jeffrey Paul created her fresh beauty look and we are going to tell you how to get the same look using Beth Bender Beauty products! Her stencils will cut your eyeliner time in 1/2!
After washing your face, pat dry then apply a hydrating moisturizer followed by a good eye cream. Make sure to pat your eye cream gently into the skin under your eyes as well as on your upper lids. Try to avoid applying too much to the upper lids. You do not want to get any cream in your eyes. This might cause your eyes to tear which as you know will cause your eye makeup to smear:(
Use Beth’s New! All About The Eyes Shadow Palette for your eyes. It is available in 2 fabulous eye shadow color combinations and comes with her stencils and brushes. Lightly press the nude matte eye shadow over your eye lids as a good base color. Then take the iridescent golden brown and apply to both of your eye lids and also into the creases paying attention to drawing it slightly out to create a soft wing. You can use the pale rosegold satin eye shadow as a highlighter under your brows. Once applied blend gently using a makeup sponge so that your eye shadow looks natural.
Now take Beth Bender’s Original Cat Eye Stencil and place it just above your eye lashes. Fill in the stencil with black eyeliner pencil, liquid eye liner or black eye shadow (pressing the eye shadow into your eye to create a long lasting cat eye) Tip: For a thicker cat eye liner, adjust the stencil above your lashes by moving it a little more above your lash line). Remove stencil from one eye, flip it over to use on your other eye. Repeat same steps for other eye.
To finish off your eyes, use Beth Bender’s Mascara and Pro Curl kit. Place eye lashes in pro curler and gently press down to set the curl of your lashes. Remove and repeat on the other side. Once eye lashes are curled, apply a few coats of Beth Bender Beauty mascara in Black paying close attention to the outer lashes for a fuller eye lash effect.
Looking for a bit of a glow? Then may we suggest using Beth Bender Beauty’s New! Pixie Dust Powder Highlighter and Brush Set. Apply it to your cheekbones, brow bones or any where you want to brighten up your face.
Use a pale pink or muted mauve lip stick or gloss to finish your look. You are now Red Carpet Ready!
